• 25mile Leisure Ride

  Hello Leisure Riders,
  I will be taking a 25mile ride round Padbury to passingham between the A 421 and A422 where there is some wonderful countryside to ride through. Stopping at the Coffee Shop in Deanshanger for refreshments, before returning via the Bycell road past Akeley Wood School

  It should be dry with just a 10% of a shower. But this time of year I would advise carrying a light shower jacket just in case. I know I will.

  Helmets must be worn, and you are advised to carry a spare inner tube to suit your tyres, as they vary, and others may not fit your bike. Better safe than sorry.

  Hope I can show you some more safe riding lanes and possibly a new watering hole for you to visit. Travelling at a pace you set!

  Pete realises what he will not be able to keep the pace, so will make his own way instead of slowing the group down further.

  Routed through Adstock to add some variety.

  If too hot there are options to shorten the return leg. But hopefully the icecream will keep you cool.
  Pace should be 13-14 mph. If you want to ride faster...join the B ride.
